The futuristic EX1 Energy Weapon has arrived in CoD Vanguard, so here are the attachments and Perks to build the best EX1 loadout.

Vanguard Season 5 is here, ending its round of seasonal updates by bringing classic weapons from past Call of Duty games. Although set in WW2, Advanced Warfare’s EM1 has arrived as the EX1 Energy Weapon. Here’s everything you need to build the best EX1 loadout for Vanguard Season 5.

Vanguard Season 5 brings the end of this era of Call of Duty before the franchise moves on to Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 later this year. The developers have gone all-out for this final season, bringing back villains such as Mendez and Al-Asad, as well as reintroducing classic weapons.

One of these new weapons is the EX1 Energy Weapon, which is essentially the EM1 from Advanced Warfare. It’s a powerful choice in multiplayer, so here are the attachments and Perks you need to make the best EX1 loadout for Call of Duty: Vanguard.

This Vanguard EX1 loadout combines the weapon’s non-existent recoil with great mobility and enough ammo to take on enemy after enemy.

We’re kicking off this EX1 loadout with the Magnified Relay Muzzle and SD Instant Grat Barrel. Combined, your laser will shoot instantly without having to be charged, and you’ll be able to shoot for even longer before recharging (reloading).

The classic Slate Reflector and Removed Stock give a clear sight picture and vastly increase the EX1’s movement speed and sprint-to-fire time. Next, the Ion Hand Stop acts similar to the M1941 Hand Stop, boosting its recoil control and accuracy.

As it’s a laser weapon, there are no ammo choices, but the Royal-PV Cell Reserve Battery increases its ammo capacity. To balance out the Magazine’s hit to ADS speed, the Fabric Grip is the perfect choice.

Finally, the Proficiency and Kit are down to personal preference, but Sleight of Hand and On-Hand are a great combination.

For Perks, you should consider running Ghost with the EX1. You’ll be completely hidden from UAVs, and can also remain completely silent by using the Ninja Perk in the third slot. We’d also recommend Forward Intel as Perk 2, allowing you to see enemies spawning.

For Equipment, a well-timed Frag Grenade can clear enemies from almost anywhere, and the Stun Grenade is great for slowing down opposing players and getting information.

Vanguard players can unlock the EX1 for free at Tier 15 of the Season 5 Battle Pass, but can start leveling it up by unlocking the Superficial Blueprint at Tier 5 of the Premium Battle Pass.

There are plenty of viable weapons in Vanguard, but the Automaton has remained the best Assault Rifle. The STG44 has remained consistently deadly throughout Vanguard’s lifecycle too.

The EX1 should be a powerful choice for the new Archon Zombies map, so be sure to check out all of the changes to Vanguard Zombies in Season 5.

Here’s everything you need to know about the new Warzone & Vanguard Season 5 Battle Pass, including the price and rewards.

A new Battle Pass has made its way to Warzone and Vanguard with the Season 5 update. Players have the chance to earn new rewards including weapons and skins, so here’s everything available in the Vanguard and Warzone Season 5 Battle Pass.

Vanguard and Warzone Season 5 got off to a start on August 24 and it delivered a ton of new content for players to enjoy before Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 arrive. This will be the final Battle Pass for Warzone and Vanguard, bringing an end to a long-standing era.

Players can progress through the Season 5 Battle Pass to unlock some valuable rewards, including new weapons and Operators.

As usual, there are two versions of the Battle Pass up for grabs, with the standard version costing players 1,000 CoD Points and the Battle Pass Bundle costing 2,400 CoD Points.

The standard version will let players start at tier 0 of the Battle Pass and attempt to earn all of the rewards available through tier 100 by playing Warzone and Vanguard. It costs less CoD Points but it is certainly more of a grind.

With the Battle Pass Bundle, players will instantly skip the first 25 tiers of the Season 5 Battle Pass. Players will also receive three Legendary Halima Operator Skins for purchasing the Battle Pass Bundle.

Warzone and Vanguard Season 5 will see the return of classic CoD villains. Of course, no mention of CoD villains is complete without the notorious Raul Menendez from Black Ops II. Evidently, Menendez seems to be the primary Season 5 villain, which explains why he will be available via the Battle Pass.

Players can unlock the Raul Menendez Operator at tier 0 of the Battle Pass. This means anyone who purchases either version of the Season 5 Battle Pass will instantly unlock Menendez alongside a Rare Operator Skin, Legendary “Dark Umber” LMG Blueprint, Seasonal XP Boost, and 45-Minute Double Weapon XP Token.

In addition, reaching tier 100 of the Last Stand Battle Pass will grant you access to Menendez’s Ultra “Populist Revolutionary” Operator skin.

Season 5 will continue to deliver two new weapons at the customary tiers 15 and 31 of the Battle Pass. Of course, these new weapons will be available for use in both Vanguard and Warzone.

Players will unlock the incredibly unique EX1 Energy Rifle at tier 15 of the Battle Pass. The prototype weapon shoots red beams to eviscerate enemies and it is expected to excel at long-range.

Meanwhile, the RA 225 SMG will be available at tier 31 of the Season 5 Battle Pass. Once again, players will have a new Vanguard SMG at their disposal. If previous Warzone seasons are anything to go by, the RA 225 SMG could very well shake up the meta.

Players who grind their way to tier 100 of the Season 5 Battle Pass will earn luxurious rewards. Tier 100 will offer players an emblem, charm, player title, Legendary Assault Rifle blueprint, and a special Menendez skin.

Here are the final rewards in the Warzone & Vanguard Season 5 Battle Pass:

The final round-based map for Vanguard Zombies arrived with Season 5, so here’s how to complete The Archon’s Main Quest Easter Egg.

Call of Duty: Vanguard’s final season is here, with Season 5 bringing an end to the Zombies Dark Aether saga. Treyarch have converted Terra Maledicta into a round-based map, complete with a Main Quest and new boss fight, so here’s how to complete The Archon Easter Egg.

With Call of Duty: Vanguard wrapping up ahead of Modern Warfare 2’s launch on October 28, The Archon is expected to be the final Zombies update for a long time. Treyarch are set to return in 2024, but 2023’s Call of Duty still hasn’t been confirmed.

Vanguard Zombies carried on Black Ops Cold War’s storyline, with Season 5’s The Archon finally bringing players face to face with Lord Kortifex. Following on from the Terra Maledicta and Shi No Numa’s Easter Eggs, players need to complete a variety of steps and challenges to complete The Archon’s Main Quest.

Here’s everything you need to do to complete The Archon’s Easter Egg and wrap up the Dark Aether saga.

Unfortunately, there’s no cutscene to round off Vanguard Zombies so once Lord Kortifex is defeated, it’s all over and you have successfully completed the Easter Egg.

Also, once you’ve unlocked the brand-new EX1 Energy Weapon, you can bring it to The Archon and level it up to create the best loadouts for both multiplayer and Warzone.

Vanguard Season 5 Reloaded is set to be the last mid-season update of the game’s lifespan, so here’s everything we know about it so far.

Vanguard Season 5 Reloaded is set to be the final major update of the game’s lifecycle, and fans will be hoping to send this year’s CoD off in style. Here’s everything to expect in Vanguard Season 5 Reloaded, including when it should arrive.

Modern Warfare 2 is set to arrive very soon, making Vanguard Season 5 the final chapter before the future of the series begins. That being said, fans still have Season 5 Reloaded to look forward to as one last hurrah for Vanguard.

The new season has already seen a host of classic villains make their comeback, and new weapons like the EX1 and RA 225 shake up the meta, but there’s plenty more to come in the mid-season update.

Here’s everything we know so far about Vanguard Season 5 Reloaded, from the expected start date to the new weapons confirmed.

There is no official word on when Season 5 Reloaded will begin just yet, but we’re expecting it to be around October 5, 2022. The current Battle Pass runs until November 16, making this date the halfway point.

October 5 also falls on Wednesday, which is the day that the developers tend to release their major updates to both Vanguard and Warzone. However, it remains to be seen if the schedule changes for the final season.

While two guns arrived at the beginning of the season, the Season 5 blog post confirmed that players will be able to “earn two more weapons launching in the midseason update, the BP50 and the Lienna 57 Assault Rifles.”

The BP50 appears to be a version of the F2000 from Modern Warfare 2, known for its relatively low damage but blistering fire rate. This should make for a strong close-range option when it finally arrives.

Meanwhile, the Lienna 57 remains more of a mystery, but we’d expect it to be a more long-range option to offer a nice balance to the BP50.

The final Vanguard season is bringing a number of families baddies from the CoD series back as Operators, with Raul Menendez from Black Ops 2 already available. Khaled Al Asad from Call of Duty 4 and Modern Warfare 2019 is also set to arrive in the coming weeks.

Season 5 Reloaded will then bring another two baddies into the mix as Operators. Players can look forward to Gabriel T. Rorke and Seraph bundles showing up in the store. Rorke served as the main antagonist of CoD: Ghosts, whereas Seraph was first featured in Black Ops 3.

That was everything we know about Vanguard Season 5 Reloaded so far. As we get closer to the start date, more details and leaks are likely to emerge, so we’ll keep this page up to date with the latest information.

Vanguard Season 5 Reloaded will come with a new map titled Fortress, after Beheaded arrived at the beginning of the season.

Describing Fortress, the dev’s said: “Battle in a maritime graveyard on this medium-sized Multiplayer map set in the Mediterranean. The eponymous fortress incorporates an old ship into its design, creating a varied landscape to be exploited by savvy Operators.”
