Employees working with computer screens require low-glare lighting with a homogeneous light distribution and sufficient illuminance. For a regular PC workstation, this illuminance should be at least 500 lux according to the norm DIN EN 12464-1. In addition to a pleasant lighting atmosphere, appealing design and the requirements set by occupational health and safety regulations, building operators are interested in good value for their money. Produced in part by easy, flexible installation and low maintenance and operating costs of the luminaires.

The new IndiviLED luminaire family by LEDVANCE shows how all these expectations can be met. The product family comprises pendant and ceiling luminaires as well as panel luminaires for standard grid ceilings. A special optical system consisting of many small “light squares” in which every individual LED has its own lens and a reflector to produce very high light quality. The result: glare-reduction that brings the unified glare rating (UGR) to under 16 as well as a very homogeneous light distribution. The many rectangular optical elements also create an appealing look and achieve a high level of efficiency of up to 120 lm/W.

Flexible mounting options, direct replacement for traditional grid ceiling luminaires and award-winning design

The Panel IndiviLED is available in the system dimensions of 600 mm x 600 mm and 625 mm x 625 mm. As a result, the luminaires can replace traditional grid ceiling luminaires (e.g. 4 x 18 W T8 tubes). It also offers flexibility for planning and installation as the panel luminaire can be installed in the ceiling or suspended. Furthermore, a broad range of accessories, including mounting frames, is available for all versions without integrated emergency lighting function. Thanks to a robust metal housing (IK08) the luminaire offers good shock protection

The IndiviLED luminaire family consists of LED panel, suspended and ceiling luminaires. It comes in five functional varieties: as simple on/off, as on/off with an integrated motion sensor (excluding the panel version), dimmable with DALI control gears, controllable with an integrated DALI daylight sensor (excluding the panel version) and with integrated emergency lighting function. When it comes to design, the IndiviLED luminaires made by LEDVANCE also have something special to offer: They use the new SCALE design. The clear, high-quality design language won the German Design Award 2019.

Which DALI system can I use with the panel IndiviLED? Intelligent lighting systems are a must in many offices, particularly when it comes to optimizing maintenance and operating costs. In the professional sector such solutions are frequently put into practice using DALI (digital addressable lighting interface). There are many varieties of DALI-capable control systems. The systems range from easy-to-implement island solutions to cross-sector building automation setups. The following box and graphic outline an island-based DALI system that can be set-up and implemented without extensive prior knowledge.

From a single source: Familiar LED office luminaires from LEDVANCE now come with an integrated emergency lighting function & new DALI-luminaires Emergency lighting is an important aspect to light planning of offices. To simplify this, LEDVANCE now offers many well-known luminaires with an integrated emergency lighting function (EM-types). These are available for the LEDVANCE LED-product families Panel Value, Downlight Alu and Damp Proof. The self-contained luminaires (as according to norms EN 60598-1:2015 and EN 60598-2-22:2014) come with an included and prewired emergency lighting driver and lithium battery. They are furthermore equipped with an automatic test and offer a 3-hour battery discharge time in emergency mode. This means for users that more and more lighting tasks within a project can be met with LEDVANCE LED luminaires.

This also applies to entrance areas and parking garages as LEDVANCE now offers lighting professionals more products for the lighting of these areas: The Downlight Alu DALI family has been extended with a 14W version for a cut-out diameter of 150 mm in the color temperatures 3,000, 4,000 and 6,500 K. Damp Proof DALI luminaires in lengths of 1,200 & 1,500 mm now feature a 6,500 K version for both sizes.
