Economics, if companies like this fade away, do you think prices will drop or stay the same? There is more than one usage/experience, there is more than one market. I'm old enough to remember when Samsung was low end like magnavox etc.. sub 100$ TVs.. (AOL disk of home entertainment) Look at Samsung now! Understand this company's position and go from there. Yes they're in it for the $ and not for us, its a business at the end of the day.

As he said litterary every phone is the same build same look and nothing special. At least last Honor magic 4 ultimate proved something else. No other phone have 5x 50+ mpix cameras. Mostly they get one main camera and 1-2 laughlable 2 mpix support cameras even in some flagship grade phones. Same goes for many else.

Its nothing special apart the fact is slower and you dont need another cable to plug into the charger there is nothing special or worth having wireless charging. Prove and correct me if i am wrong.

Design is 99% identical, software is 99% identical too and features are the same. I said that Honor is basically Huawei because they make 99% similar phones. I hope it's more clear now :) The only difference i see between those phones are Google services and Honor is more expensive here for some weird reason.

Anonymous, 05 Sep 2022 Funny that both Huawei and Honor have phones that use same cameras and lenses of same FL. 😏 The only camera that is shared between Honor Magic 4 Ultimate and Huawei P50 Pro is their telephoto camera, which can be also found inside Axon 40 Ultra. They are quite vastly different now, especially considering that now Huawei is planning to add a variable aperture to the new Mate's main camera and a macro mode to its periscope lens.

AnonD-1033007, 05 Sep 2022 Honor is literally Huawei, just with Google services and different name 💀 Not exactly. They recently opened their own high tech production facility which is completely separate from Huawei. Before the 'sale' they either relied on Huawei's factories or third party manufacturers. If you use flagships from Huawei and flagships from Honor you can also see quite different image processing. Prior to the split, in China you could bring your phone to Huawei service centers for maintenance but now that is not the case. You have to go to Honor service centers now. I don't know how connected they still remain but they are definitely less connected than before.
