This fall, iconic Beverly Hills jewelry designer Martin Katz is relocating his 20-year boutique on Brighton Way to a luxe penthouse suite at the landmark Fred Hayman building. A more intimate setting for his celebrity clients, the new atelier will include a private salon and outdoor terrace as well as limited edition jewels created exclusively for the space.

Drawing inspiration from the golden era of the 90210 and Katz's love for Art Deco and simplicity, the boutique will feature high-gloss sycamore lacquer finishes and granite accented by charcoal and grey tones. Elegant glass doors open onto a private terrace with views of Beverly Hills, providing the perfect natural lighting for stars to try on for size Katz's meticulously crafted, couture-quality pieces, which are inspired by his love of vintage jewelry.

The suite is outfitted with state-of-the-art technology to enable 24/7 digital appointments with clients. And to coincide with the boutique's launch later this fall, Katz will introduce a jewel bar.

Katz, who started his career with a jewel bar out of his L.A. home 30 years ago, was the first independent jewelry house to hit the red carpet and has bejeweled over 500 celebrities including Sharon Stone, Salma Hayek, Sandra Bullock, Ashley Judd, Gigi Hadid, Zoe Kravitz, and Nicole Kidman — to name a few.

While the designer awaits the completion of construction of the penthouse, which has been delayed due to global supply chain issues, he is operating by appointment upstairs from his boutique location at 9538 Brighton Way. Clients can also consult him through virtual meetings, email, or phone.

"My hope is that our Penthouse will not just be a place to shop, but also become a social destination in itself," said Katz.
